Computers
Computers and internet are available for use at all five libraries free of charge. You just need to be a member of any library in SA.
It isn’t necessary to book, but there may be wait times depending on how busy it is. Booking guarantees a computer will be available for you.
The computers operate on Windows 11 and have the full Microsoft Office suite including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Specialty computers, like those in the Makerspace and Sound Studio, have additional software to design and create.
The computers also have a special software on them that completely resets them after every session, this is to ensure all your information and documents are removed. Make sure to regularly back up files on a USB Flash Drive or to the cloud while using.
The computers have a session time of one hour but you can be extend if there are no bookings either via a little pop-up that displays, or asking staff.
