Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in formal action up to and including suspension from the City of PAE Libraries.

Act Responsibly

Behave appropriately
Look after those in your care and regulate their behaviour
Keep your belongings and information safe and secure
Do not engage in illegal activity or antisocial behaviour within the library
Do not consume or be under the influence of drugs or alcohol within the library
Do not interfere with activities in the library or library equipment and property

Be Respectful

Treat other people fairly and with respect
Respect the personal boundaries of staff and other customers
Do not speak or act aggressively towards staff or other customers
Do not use abusive, insulting or obscene language in the library

Consider Others

Help make this a place where everyone feels comfortable
Communicate respectfully and in consideration of others
Keep your volume to a reasonable level
Do not disturb other people using the space
Do not view, download or print material that is likely to cause offence or discomfort to other people in the space
