Timeline
7th July - Theme and challenge revealed.
20th July - Submission deadline.
Platform
Fiero Code (any coding language accepted).
Prizes
1st Prize - $50 EB Games Voucher
2nd Prize - $30 EB Games Voucher
3rd Prize - $30 EB Games Voucher
Scoring
Maximum of 30 points for sticking to and showcasing the theme.
Maximum of 25 points for gameplay.
Maximum of 25 points for art.
Maximum of 20 points for implementing the challenge.
All entries will be played and scored by a panel of PAE Libraries staff.
Rules
Participants can work alone, or as part of a team.
Participants must be aged 8 years or older.
If your team wins a prize, only one prize will be given to the team, not each member of the team.
Game must be submitted before the deadline to be eligible for scoring and prizes.
Game must be created for the intent of this Game Jam and from in the Fiero Code platform.

What is a Game Jam?
A game jam is a competition where participants create video games within a limited time frame and often with a specific theme. This Game Jam runs for all of the July school holidays, with the theme and challenge being announced on July 7.

Is there a prize?

How will I be contacted if I do win?
You will be contacted via email and/or phone shortly after the submission deadline. You will have 7 days to respond and accept your win.
How do I collect my prize?
You will need to pick up your prize from Parks Library at your convenience.
If we work in a team, will we receive a prize each?
No, only 1 prize given per team.
When is the Game Jam running?
PAE Libraries Game Jam opens on 7th July 9:00am and closes on 20th July 11:59pm.
How will my game be scored?
All submissions will be played and scored by the Library Technology Team:
30 points: Theme
25 points: Gameplay
25 points: Art
20 points: Challenge
Is there an age range?
Anyone aged 8+ can submit a game.
When is the theme and challenge announced?
Both the Theme and Challenge will be revealed 7th July 9:00am
